This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) within the Innovation and Engineering team.
• Assist in the design and implementation of BMS and EPMS across various STACK projects.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction and Construction leadership, design teams, and OFCI vendors to define, maintain, and oversee controls requirements.
• Assess design drawing packages created by Engineers of Record.
• Analyze mechanical and electrical equipment submittal packages.
• Facilitate coordination of requirements among design teams, construction teams, controls contractors, and equipment vendors.
• Engage directly with construction teams throughout the project's execution phase.
• Support commissioning activities to ensure that the installed control systems meet the approved design and project specifications.
• Review client specifications and convey controls requirements to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design teams to embed controls requirements into project designs.
• Aid in resolving issues from the design phase through to project turnover.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of experience in controls, MEP design, construction, commissioning, or a closely related area supporting complex facilities.
• Proven experience working directly with design engineers, general contractors, controls contractors, equipment vendors, and construction teams throughout the design and execution phases.
• Background in data center or mission-critical facility construction is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the construction and commissioning process, with the ability to assist in resolving issues from the design phase to turnover.
• Capability to read, interpret, and evaluate construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems and their monitoring and control systems.
• Experience with BMS and/or EPMS systems.
• Ability to assess mechanical and electrical equipment submittals for compliance with controls-related requirements and design alignment.
• Skills in reviewing client specifications and collaborating with design teams to integrate requirements into project documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of the construction process and effective coordination between design, construction, vendors, and controls contractors.
• Proficient with construction management software and project documentation.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background and drug screening.
