This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee a multifaceted technology implementation and modernization project within the Early Learning and Childcare sector.
• Manage all phases of projects from development through to implementation, deployment, and operational launch.
• Ensure that delivery aligns with the defined scope, timeline, budget, and performance criteria.
• Define and document project goals, requirements, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities.
• Coordinate project resources and engage with a large, diverse group of stakeholders.
• Develop and sustain project schedules, work breakdown structures, milestones, and dependencies.
• Oversee complex data migration processes and their associated dependencies.
• Recognize risks, issues, scheduling conflicts, and key dependencies, and formulate mitigation plans.
• Manage and monitor project change requests effectively.
• Conduct critical path analyses to identify project timelines.
• Prepare project plans, status reports, charts, dashboards, and other necessary project documentation.
• Provide continuous project status updates throughout the lifecycle.
• Facilitate meetings among stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and other project managers.
• Coordinate schedules and deliverables with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved as scheduled.
• Assist in issue resolution and decision-making during the implementation phase.
• Oversee project completion, operational transition, and final project sign-off.
• Valid PMP certification with good standing.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing complex projects that involve large-scale data migrations.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience collaborating with Canadian government organizations.
• At least 3 years of experience managing large and diverse groups of stakeholders.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing and/or managing permitting, compliance, and licensing software solutions.
• More than 2 years of experience in the Early Learning and Childcare sector (preferred).
• Familiarity with Canadian childcare legislation and regulatory frameworks (preferred).
• Prior experience with the implementation of AMANDA software (preferred).
• Strong background with online document management solutions (preferred).
• Experience with Case Management Systems implementation (preferred).
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada, either through Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a Valid Work Permit.
