Senior Project Manager – Modern Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the expectations and requirements of internal stakeholders, partners, and customers.

• Plan and execute IT solution development projects.

• Collaborate with leadership in delivery and sales to enhance customer business value.

• Construct and uphold project schedules.

• Lead the resolution of budget, schedule, and scope challenges and escalations.

• Oversee Scrum meetings, project meetings, and in-depth technical discussions.

• Ensure deadlines and budgetary targets are achieved, escalating issues as necessary.

• Maintain thorough project documentation and reporting.

• Act as a bridge between business and technical project elements.

• Lead cross-functional teams, including virtual and offshore groups.

• Develop project plans that track tasks, schedules, risks, and issues.

• Ensure projects are aligned with Presidio’s strategic goals.

• Function as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through business challenges and clarifying their desired results.

• Cultivate consultative partnerships with customers and identify opportunities that align with strategic objectives.

• Promote a customer-first approach throughout all project phases.

• Support cloud and DevOps teams in delivering automation, assessments, cloud builds, application migrations, and workshops.

• Communicate timelines, KPIs, Agile Scrum standups, sprints, and delivery timelines to client stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, including military service.

• Over 7 years of experience in IT project management and IT consulting.

• Proven expertise in PMI-defined project management methodologies.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Capability to manage delivery processes for application development and modernization projects.

• Proficient in Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Project.

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Trello, Teamwork, Zoho, and similar project management tools.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

• Understanding of AWS and/or Azure cloud technologies and application stacks.

• PMP or a similar certification is preferred.

• CSM or comparable certification is preferred.

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or an equivalent certification is favored.

• Azure Fundamentals or a similar certification is preferred.

• Experience in leading projects utilizing AWS and/or Azure technologies.

• Strong skills in time management, analytics, communication, thought leadership, team building, motivation, and customer service.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills for client-facing scenarios.

• Ability to learn swiftly, adapt to changes, and stay updated with emerging technologies and tools.

• Demonstrated consultative approach and capability to link technology solutions with business outcomes.

• Customer-first mindset with a talent for driving stakeholder alignment.
