Senior Project Manager – Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate global cross-functional teams, involving internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors.

• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, encompassing planning, execution, monitoring, delivery, and closure.

• Create comprehensive project plans, timelines, estimates, and proposals that align with customer needs and company standards.

• Track project progress, budgets, profitability, and resource allocation to ensure successful outcomes.

• Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to reduce impact.

• Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to enhance delivery processes and operational efficiency.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and successful project outcomes.

• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports, and recommendations.

• Assist with financial tracking activities, including invoice approvals, budget reconciliation, margin management, and reporting.

• Prepare and present business reviews, presentations, and client-facing documents such as SOWs, proposals, workflows, and post-project analyses.

• Contribute to process improvements, operational best practices, and strategic initiatives across the organization.

• Support business growth by engaging in client discussions, presentations, and solution planning as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and enterprise client accounts.

• Experience in international and cross-cultural work environments.

• A background in technology, localization, language services, or related industries is preferred.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.

• Experience in preparing client-facing documentation such as Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, workflows, and post-mortem analyses.

• Experience in managing project budgets, financial reporting, and profitability.

• Familiarity with Translation Management Systems (TMS) like GlobalSight, SDL TMS, Idiom WorldServer, or similar platforms is a plus.

• Experience in supporting client growth initiatives, strategic planning, or sales cycles is advantageous.
