This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Management of project execution from the proposal phase through to the end of the warranty period, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), delivery, and commissioning.
• Implementation of best practices in project management (as per the project management manual and specific product line instructions), with a particular emphasis on handover inspections, project gate reviews, and project closure.
• Contribution to the operational performance of the unit through accurate forecasting of financial KPIs: revenue, cash flow, and contribution margin.
• Primary customer contact for contract administration.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations to the customer through clear feedback during consistent interactions (e.g., phone, email, etc.), customer meetings, regular reviews, and so forth.
• Execution of projects in collaboration with the departments of Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, Purchasing, and Finance.
• Monthly updates on the progress of action plans as well as revenue/cash flow forecasts.
• Preparation and presentation of project reviews.
• Maintenance of comprehensive documentation and records of completed projects.
• Management of resource planning and team workload to ensure a billable rate of 90% or higher.
• Leadership of EHS/safety measures and performance: Full compliance with GE rules and processes and ensuring that project teams (both internal and subcontracted) are properly trained and possess the necessary qualifications.
• Support for sales teams by sharing "Lessons Learned" (ROEs) that lead to optimized project costs and delivery times.
• Implementation of a contract management/change strategy in the interest of GEV.
• Contribution to company growth through independent management of variation orders for respective projects as needed.
• Role model for GE's leadership behaviors in fulfilling roles and responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Industry knowledge.
• Prior experience in telecommunications/network or IP field activities.
• At least 5 years of project management experience in an EPC/Turnkey business.
• Ability to lead and motivate a project team of 3–6 individuals.
• Fluent in German and English is required.
• Technical expertise in IP, MPLS, or SDG protocols, industrial wireless technology, protection control technology, routers and switches, powerline carrier is a plus.
• Willingness to travel: 20%.
