This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the main liaison between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.
• Ensure that both internal and external escalation procedures are adhered to.
• Define the roles and communication channels for secondary project leads when necessary.
• Take ownership of the overall cross-functional project delivery concerning time, cost, and quality.
• Oversee project-level financial management, including contracts, resources, out-of-scope activities, change management processes, negotiations, budgets, forecasts, and timelines.
• Establish, communicate, and manage customer expectations effectively.
• Facilitate project-level risk identification and issue resolution through RBQM/RESOLVE.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Provide mentorship to team members.
• Develop or contribute to initiatives for process improvement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification.
• Over 8 years of relevant experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role.
• Proven experience in managing global Oncology/Hematology trials.
• Technical proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity.
• Capability to delegate and prioritize tasks and resources in a dynamic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills along with effective presentation abilities.
• A proactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable mindset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the therapeutic area and clinical development guidelines and directives.
• Advanced understanding of cross-functional project management principles regarding time, quality, and cost.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
• Excellent customer service, judgment, decision-making, critical thinking, analytical, strategic thinking, negotiation, influencing, and financial management skills.
• Awareness of cross-cultural dynamics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adherence to organizational policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Work may involve exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, and electrical office equipment; personal protective equipment such as eyewear, garments, and gloves may be necessary.
• Collaboration and development are integral to the everyday experience.
