This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the project lead and main contact for sponsors.
• Responsible for the overall delivery of the project, encompassing quality, timelines, and costs.
• Set and convey customer expectations to the project team with minimal guidance.
• Ensure adherence to internal and external escalation processes.
• Lead cross-functional project teams to achieve or surpass targets.
• Manage projects with increasing complexity, including multi-service, multi-region/country, therapeutic intricacies, and financial scope.
• Define responsibilities and communication channels for secondary project leads when necessary.
• Drive and take ownership of overall cross-functional project delivery.
• Guarantee project-level financial management through understanding contracts, aligning resources, managing out-of-scope activities, and executing Con Mod negotiations within timelines.
• Establish, convey, and manage customer expectations for optimal project delivery.
• Facilitate project-level risk identification and issue resolution utilizing RBQM/RESOLVE.
• Ensure compliance of the project team with policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and project-specific guidelines.
• Mentor team members.
• Develop or contribute to initiatives aimed at process improvement.
• Proven experience in managing global Oncology/Hematology trials.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant formal academic or vocational qualification.
• Over 8 years of prior experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.
• Proficiency in technical and systems applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, and Clarity.
• Ability to delegate tasks and prioritize workload and resources in a dynamic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities and situations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical development guidelines and directives.
• Advanced understanding of cross-functional project management principles related to time, quality, and cost.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional project teams.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to addressing and prioritizing expectations.
• Sound judgment, decision-making, and critical analytical thinking skills for complex or ambiguous situations.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others and achieve results, including cross-cultural awareness.
• Solid financial acumen with the ability to proactively manage and adjust budgets, forecasts, and resources.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adherence to organization policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and project-specific guidelines.
