
Senior Project Manager – Heavy Duty Combine Cycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers on designated projects
• Drive customer interactions, negotiations, and resolve issues
• Coordinate and align both internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, contractors, and suppliers
• Oversee the comprehensive execution of large, intricate, non-turnkey, product/equipment-only, and combined cycle projects
• Collaborate with the ITO Commercial Manager to formulate initial execution strategies
• Facilitate contract evaluations to ensure alignment on requirements, scope, and commitments
• Manage project execution within an SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) framework
• Hold complete P&L responsibility for revenue, contribution margin, and cash flow
• Monitor project performance metrics and balance trade-offs among cost, schedule, performance, and risk
• Create and oversee risk and opportunity registers along with mitigation strategies
• Advocate for GE Vernova’s Safety Toolkit and emphasize health and safety
• Assist in risk-informed decision-making by utilizing both internal and external insights
• Serve as a subject matter expert in project execution and/or a specific technical area
• Promote best practices to enhance products, processes, or services
• Lead innovative problem-solving initiatives in manufacturing, engineering, and production settings
• Implement advanced operational, engineering, and product management methods across interconnected workstreams
• Address cross-functional challenges and execution limitations in collaboration with partnering functions
• Direct project teams and resources effectively
• Assist Functional Project Managers with escalation issues
• Present project, business, and technical solutions to senior management
• Influence without direct authority in a matrixed organization
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
• At least 8 years of Project Management experience in Energy, Construction, or large capital project settings
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Experience in understanding the execution costs and estimates of large capital projects
• Project Management Professional certification preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple phased projects concurrently and autonomously
• Strong customer orientation and capability to build robust relationships
• Experience in engaging and influencing senior-level executives
• Strategic mindset, problem-solving skills, and business and financial insight
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Proficient presentation skills with the capability to convey complex information succinctly
• Inclusive interpersonal and leadership skills in matrixed environments
• Capacity to make independent decisions and juggle conflicting priorities in a dynamic setting
