Senior Project Manager, Government Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various projects within defined scope, timelines, and budgets.

• Establish and sustain effective oversight for delivery across the entire portfolio.

• Develop and lead project teams, encouraging collaboration and professional growth.

• Choose and tailor project management methodologies to meet specific project requirements.

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks.

• Ensure accurate project documentation and reporting for stakeholders.

• Maintain close communication with clients to manage expectations and facilitate business development.

• Coordinate resources, assign tasks, and monitor project progress.

• Address conflicts and foster a high-performance team environment.

• Leverage project management tools to assure transparency and track progress effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project and/or program management.

• Experience with public sector or government-related projects.

• Familiarity with fixed-price project structures.

• Strong grasp of project, program, and portfolio management principles.

• Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.

• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a knack for motivating and guiding teams.

• Strong skills in risk management, planning, and decision-making.

• Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite).

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Strong organizational, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Capacity to adapt swiftly to changes and navigate complex environments.

• Advanced understanding of corporate settings and business objectives.

• Upper-Intermediate or Advanced proficiency in English.
