This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage all facets of large-scale, intricate Electronic Security Systems projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, focusing on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Lead the implementation of physical security systems by overseeing execution, coordinating teams, and ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
• Deliver and integrate systems including CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection alarms, and perimeter security solutions.
• Utilize construction sequencing expertise to identify, assess, quantify, and communicate risks associated with construction.
• Collaborate during design reviews and assist in maintaining accurate field documentation.
• Create project schedules and baselines; recognize and convey deviations along with their impacts on clients.
• Oversee field verification of potential work sites, ensure quality control, confirm readiness, and document site conditions.
• Track project budgets, costs, margins, financial risks, and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Cultivate client relationships, manage expectations, facilitate communication, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordinate stakeholder activities related to system programming, testing, final inspection, commissioning, and client handover.
• Collaborate with the site supervisor to develop and enforce work plans and schedules.
• Manage punch lists post substantial completion and guarantee prompt resolution of pending tasks.
• Conduct project turnover and training sessions with clients and the service team.
• Provide support, problem-solving, and resource coordination for team members.
• Candidates must possess experience in Electronic Security Services.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction trades or with Electronic Security Systems (ESS) is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to repeatable processes and engage in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI).
• Experience in delivering waterfall schedules to meet fixed delivery dates while ensuring quality and profitability.
• Proven experience in a client-facing role, exhibiting a professional and pleasant demeanor.
• Strong technical skills and the capacity to quickly learn new technologies.
• Experience working with or for Enterprise-level clients is preferred.
• Knowledge of when and how to apply Agile methodologies within a waterfall framework.
• Comprehensive understanding of PMP methodologies and best practices.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is essential.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of residence is required.
• Project Management experience with large, intricate technical projects within a large-scale program is preferred.
• Familiarity with Electronic Security Systems (ESS) is preferred.
• Certification as a Security Project Manager – CSPM is preferred.
• PMP certification from the Project Management Institute is preferred.
• Frequent travel by car and occasional flights.
• Local travel to client sites within a 2-hour driving distance each way.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is generally required on job sites.
• Standard office environment when not on construction sites.
