This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of medium to large moderately complex service delivery projects for Connection sales subsidiaries.

• Create, manage, and drive project execution by utilizing established project management lifecycle methodologies.

• Act as the main point of contact for all project-related communication.

• Ensure adherence to all project phases.

• Support clients and the sales team with pre-sales planning, project scoping, scheduling, and requirement determination.

• Provide mentorship to less experienced project managers.

• Develop project documentation to fulfill contractual obligations.

• Manage both internal resources and third-party service providers.

• Oversee project scope, budget, and timeline.

• Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues, including escalated concerns.

• Confirm the completion of milestones and ensure accurate entry and validation of time and expenses.

• Update systems and communicate with the PMO Manager.

• Conduct or supervise billing submissions.

• Close projects administratively in alignment with methodology.

• Meet weekly status and portfolio reporting requirements.

• Travel may be necessary for project kickoffs, pilot programs, milestone reviews, or client meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive project management experience in IT professional services and with third-party vendors.

• Proven experience in leading projects across multiple teams, clients, and managing partners/vendors.

• Ability to identify, prioritize, resolve, and escalate risks and issues effectively.

• Strong project management capabilities encompassing scope, budget, and schedule management.

• Exceptional organization and time management skills.

• Experience in providing project status reports and updates.

• Demonstrated expertise in project change management.

• Familiarity with project closure activities, including lessons learned and project surveys.

• Ability to listen, anticipate customer needs, and manage expectations effectively.

• Experience in creating project documentation, including budget, roster, risk register, mitigation plan, schedule, and communication plan.

• Capability to manage changing priorities, make informed decisions, negotiate, and maintain attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• PMP certification is required or the ability to obtain PMP certification within the first 6 months of employment.
