
Senior Project Manager β Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +1 more state.
β’ Lead cross-functional teams in the management of various construction and renovation projects across a broad geographic region.
β’ Supervise projects from their inception to completion, coordinating with design professionals, contractors, and stakeholders.
β’ Oversee renovations, infrastructure development, extensive remodels, and new construction, including ground-up projects.
β’ Simultaneously manage all project phases from initiation through design, planning, client approval, permitting, construction, and financial closure.
β’ Ensure full accountability for all aspects of the projects.
β’ Direct project teams consisting of architects, engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, and client stakeholders.
β’ Provide weekly updates on project activities, covering schedules, risks, budget statuses, and projected cash flow.
β’ Develop risk management strategies and supervise work authorization processes.
β’ Aid client decision-making by providing data, recommendations, and associated risks.
β’ Compile project documentation, including charters, due diligence reports, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, funding requests, status reports, punch lists, and special reports.
β’ Manage vendors to ensure adherence to project policies and procedures.
β’ Complete formal project closeout within 90 days post-project completion.
β’ Foster continuous process improvement initiatives.
β’ 10β15 years of experience in project management encompassing all facets of design and construction.
β’ Demonstrated expertise in project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications.
β’ Knowledgeable in architectural drawings, specifications for furniture/fixtures/equipment, design and space planning concepts, as well as construction costs and timelines.
β’ Must live in or around Fargo, ND, Bismarck, ND, Sioux Falls, SD, or Rapid City, SD.
β’ Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
β’ Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
β’ Preferred: Certification in Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management.
β’ Preferred: LEED Certification.
β’ Preferred: PMP Certification.
β’ Travel may be required up to 60% for projects across the region.
