Senior Project Manager – Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Leading cross-functional teams to oversee various construction and renovation projects across a wide geographic region.

• Managing projects from inception to completion, coordinating with design professionals, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

• Monitoring project finances, maintaining milestone schedules, providing regular updates on progress, and supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives.

• Directly managing and supervising multiple projects, including renovations, infrastructure development, significant remodels, and new construction.

• Taking full responsibility for the comprehensive management of projects.

• Guiding the entire project team, which includes architects, engineers, general and specialty contractors, property management, operating engineers, and client stakeholders.

• Creating risk management strategies and leading project teams through established work authorization protocols.

• Overseeing and preparing precise project documentation for all construction phases.

• Managing vendors to ensure complete adherence to all project policies and procedures, including the formal closeout of all projects within 90 days post-completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.

• 10-15 years of project management experience encompassing all facets of design and construction.

• Demonstrated expertise in project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications.

• Knowledge of architectural drawings, specifications for furniture/fixtures/equipment, design and space planning concepts, as well as construction costs and timelines.

• LEED Certification and PMP Certification are preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the designated portfolio is required.
