Senior Project Manager – Audio Visual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the effective execution of intricate audiovisual (AV) and technology integration initiatives from project initiation to completion.

• Oversee overall project implementation, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, scope, and client satisfaction.

• Act as the main liaison for clients and internal teams, facilitating cross-functional collaboration among engineering, procurement, field operations, and subcontractors.

• Collaborate closely with the AV Procurement Specialist to monitor equipment orders, foresee delivery challenges, manage material preparedness, and ensure procurement activities align with project timelines.

• Offer valuable guidance, identify issues, and maintain accountability in the procurement process through expertise in AV products.

• Handle multiple projects concurrently while ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations.

• Employ practical project management methodologies based on PMI PMBOK principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• 5–8+ years of project management experience within AV, low-voltage, or construction settings.

• Demonstrated ability to manage several simultaneous AV integration projects from inception to completion.

• Comprehensive understanding of AV systems, including Cisco, Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, and comparable technologies.

• Knowledge of AV equipment procurement processes, including product lead times, vendor networks, and material readiness criteria, sufficient to oversee and direct procurement activities in collaboration with a dedicated procurement resource.

• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, MS Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc.).

• Willingness to travel to job sites as required.

• Strong experience in IT Infrastructure deployment within a Professional Services organization, either as a Manufacturer or Value-Added Reseller, is preferred.

• Previous experience in dynamic, high-growth, or startup-like environments where processes are developed alongside daily operations is preferred.

• PMP Certification is highly preferred.
