Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Oversight and leadership of global teams, including both internal and external personnel, as well as direct and indirect reports.

• Preparation, analysis, and execution of project plans in accordance with Welocalize standards for Project Management, which includes Project Start Standards, Workflow and Completion; maintaining project status updates, approving invoices, and updating client information.

• Development and management of project timelines.

• Crafting project estimates and proposals for client approval.

• Conducting risk assessments and strategic planning of activities to mitigate potential issues.

• Management of QA projects, including resource allocation, defect management, and reporting.

• Collaborating on project and client goals with other relevant stakeholders.

• Development and preparation of process documentation as required.

• Operating with a moderate level of support, which includes timely recognition and escalation of any issues beyond their control.

• Collaborating with the production team to enhance project delivery and profitability.

• Establishing robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues across departments and vendors.

• Building and sustaining strong relationships with customer contacts at the project level, achieving measurable success in customer satisfaction ratings.

• Ensuring effective and timely communication with all stakeholders engaged in the project(s), including clients and production business units.

• Verifying that all finance systems data is accurate and consistently updated.

• Providing reports, including Weekly Project Status reports, Budget to Actual comparisons, Time Management insights, and addressing Client/Vendor issues to involved stakeholders.

• Ensuring project profitability is maintained through effective margin management.

• Planning, preparing, and facilitating quarterly business reviews with clients in face-to-face meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree OR a Bachelor’s Degree with relevant industry experience may be considered in place of a Master’s Degree.

• Demonstrated success in Project Management.

• Experience working on an international scale or directly with international product development.

• Background in a technology-related company.

• Proven experience managing large clients.

• Established success in overseeing large accounts/projects.

• Experience in drafting client documents, such as Statements of Work (SOWs), proposals, processes, and post-mortems.

• Strong track record of actively contributing to the development of processes and innovative ideas.

• Proven involvement in new client sales cycles, including presentations, analyses, recommendations, and relationship building.

• Experience managing financial budgets, including budget reconciliation and reporting.

• Familiarity with Translation Management Systems, such as GlobalSight, Idiom World Server, SDL TMS, etc.
