This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of intricate, cross-departmental projects.
• Manage all stages of the project lifecycle in accordance with EPMO governance standards.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Organize and facilitate project governance, planning, status updates, risk assessments, and executive steering committee meetings.
• Create executive-level communications, dashboards, and status reports for projects.
• Collaborate with sponsors and cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, success metrics, and business outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, communication strategies, and governance documents.
• Identify risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, and formulate mitigation and contingency strategies.
• Facilitate team meetings and address complex project challenges effectively.
• Cultivate relationships across business units, technology teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
• Lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
• Handle multiple concurrent projects and navigate competing priorities efficiently.
• Monitor KPIs and milestones, communicate progress, and suggest corrective measures as needed.
• Ensure adherence to project management, governance, SDLC, and quality standards.
• Independently manage strategic initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Oversee vendor and third-party relationships, deliverables, performance, and associated risks.
• Maintain resource plans and resolve conflicts related to capacity and priorities.
• Track benefits realization throughout the project lifecycle and after implementation.
• Evaluate organizational impacts, readiness, adoption, training, communications, and transition requirements.
• Utilize project management technology, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to enhance delivery efficiency.
• Coach and mentor stakeholders on project management methodologies and governance best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience, including experience at the program level.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Capability to adapt to changing priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing project resources, third-party vendors, and cross-functional capacity constraints within a matrixed environment.
• Familiarity with integrated change control, organizational readiness, and stakeholder adoption in enterprise settings.
• Experience with OKR/KPI frameworks and benefits realization.
• Executive presence with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Outstanding verbal, written, collaboration, and team-building skills.
• Ability to organize, coordinate, and execute details while maintaining a focus on the overall vision.
• Proficiency in managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Skill in working effectively both in teams and as an independent contributor.
• Systems-thinking abilities with decisiveness in resolving business challenges, making decisions, and identifying priorities.
• Creative and collaborative problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Familiarity with Monday.com, Jira, and Confluence (preferred).
• Option for remote work.
