This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Oversees large-scale programs or segments of highly complex initiatives valued up to $10M.
• Directs and organizes the work of project teams.
• Able to manage and supervise various disciplines and technologies within a project.
• Engages with key customer stakeholders effectively.
• Conducts assessments of needs and gathers requirements.
• Defines and develops the program's scope, objectives, detailed plans, budgets, and metrics for substantial projects and/or complex project segments.
• Manages projects from initiation to completion (or transition), including monitoring and evaluating project performance.
• Ensures compliance with the program plan, quality metrics, and budgetary constraints for projects.
• Suggests corrective measures and executes necessary changes.
• Recognizes and mitigates risks; formulates and implements risk mitigation strategies.
• Acquires internal and external resources as needed.
• Assigns project personnel with the necessary skills to achieve project goals.
• Serves as the primary liaison to internal teams.
• May manage complex vendor relationships.
• Responsible for direct communication with pertinent senior stakeholders.
• Facilitates moderately complex communications and/or negotiations with internal or external clients.
• Identifies and manages program improvements and process enhancements.
• Conducts project reviews throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Fosters a motivated team environment with support from engineering, other SI resources, and departments as necessary.
• High School diploma, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, IT, Management, or Technology.
• Over 5 years of experience in Public Safety and Project Management, particularly in overseeing complex deployments and/or software application rollouts for State and Local public safety government entities.
• Must be able to secure a background clearance as mandated by our government clients.
• Prior experience in people management is essential.
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Project and similar applications for project scheduling.
• Experience in project risk assessment and developing risk mitigation strategies.
• Should be a self-driven team player capable of working effectively with general guidance towards objectives.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• PMP Certification is preferred.
• Must pass a criminal background check and meet CJIS Security and Privacy: Privileged Role certification requirements.
