Plumbing Project Manager, Quality Control Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assess a significant number of plumbing work orders daily across various residential job sites.

• Review contractor submissions, including reports, photographs, and videos to confirm the accuracy of diagnoses and scopes.

• Identify incomplete or incorrect bids and collaborate with contractors to rectify issues prior to escalation.

• Provide technical guidance to contractors and escalate quality concerns when necessary.

• Ensure that all pertinent data, documentation, and system entries are precise and complete.

• Serve as the final internal quality assurance checkpoint before work is approved, scheduled, or billed.

• Utilize internal platforms and documentation tools to efficiently manage daily operations.

• Work in partnership with the internal operations team to address delays, material shortages, or job-related issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5+ years of practical plumbing experience, with a strong preference for residential work.

• Strong diagnostic skills and the capability to evaluate work through photographs, videos, and contractor notes.

• Knowledge of common residential plumbing problems such as leaks, clogs, and water heater failures.

• Ability to identify subpar fieldwork, challenge assumptions, and guide contractors towards the correct scope of work.

• Excellent verbal communication skills—capable of assertively addressing issues without being aggressive.

• Openness to exchange fieldwork for full-time remote employment.

• Quick adaptability to new software—this position depends on a proprietary internal platform rather than standard tools.

• Highly organized and proficient in managing multiple open work orders concurrently.

• Proficient in English (both verbal and written); a clear and concise communicator.
