This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Independently lead projects while occasionally collaborating with an Assistant Project Manager.
• Oversee complex projects and manage a substantial portfolio of business.
• Make informed decisions regarding project processes, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Manage the complete project development life cycle in alignment with business processes and quality benchmarks.
• Prepare and submit materials for medical and legal review following client guidelines.
• Generate project status reports and provide updates to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate daily and weekly production meetings.
• Maintain project management records, including FinancialForce, Ziflow, and CRM systems.
• Spearhead process improvement initiatives.
• Establish project milestones and comprehensive schedules for clients and vendor/agency partners.
• Ensure that deliverables adhere to timelines and remain within the allocated budget.
• Conduct weekly monitoring of project and campaign budgets.
• Lead monthly internal reconciliation meetings and prepare client budget reports in collaboration with finance support.
• Identify and address project risks proactively.
• Manage relationships with vendors and agency partners.
• Assess resource requirements and coordinate with the resourcing manager and other project managers.
• Review monthly staffing forecasts.
• Present capabilities and processes to both internal and external audiences.
• Cultivate relationships with development teams, vendors, agency partners, and clients.
• Assist in training Assistant Project Managers.
• Supervise an Assistant Project Manager, including conducting bi-weekly one-on-one meetings.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical marketing agency is essential.
• Agency of Record (AOR) experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree (BA) is required.
• Proven experience managing large, cross-functional teams, including account services, creative, strategy, database, interactive, and print production.
• Familiarity with working alongside multiple vendors and managing their timelines and requirements.
• Proficient in using MS Project or SmartSheets.
• Advanced experience with a project management financial platform.
• Strong Excel skills are necessary.
• Experience in leading process improvement initiatives.
