This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee intricate, cross-functional operational initiatives from the identification of issues through to recommendations, implementation, and post-launch assessment.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders within operations and various business functions to pinpoint challenges, clarify goals, and transform requirements into organized project plans.
• Evaluate business processes, workflows, data, and performance trends to uncover opportunities for enhanced efficiency, cost reductions, quality improvements, and scalability.
• Formulate actionable, data-driven recommendations and facilitate decision-making amidst uncertainty.
• Design and execute new programs, processes, and operational frameworks.
• Foster continuous improvement by assessing current processes, identifying root causes, and offering sustainable solutions.
• Produce project documentation, timelines, success metrics, status updates, and summaries suitable for executive review.
• Oversee execution across various workstreams, ensuring accountability, momentum, follow-up, and management of escalations.
• Assist in change management and adoption initiatives.
• Track project results and refine solutions based on outcomes, feedback, and changing business requirements.
• Enhance procurement practices, inventory management, transportation efficiency, logistics, and overall operational effectiveness.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, operations, business operations, continuous improvement, consulting, supply chain, logistics, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects that yield measurable business impacts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on using data to inform decisions and recommendations.
• Exceptional critical-thinking abilities and executive judgment.
• Comfort in making decisions within ambiguous, dynamic environments.
• Capability to independently outline scope, structure work, and progress initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complexity and influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Experience in process improvement, program development, or driving operational change from inception to execution.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical execution in complex operational settings.
• A broad curiosity and adaptability across various operational topics.
• High level of ownership, strong follow-through, and the capability to function as a self-motivated leader.
• Preferred: experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, reverse logistics, fulfillment, retail operations, or comparable fields.
• Preferred: familiarity with process improvement methodologies and frameworks for operational enhancement.
• Preferred: experience in building business cases, conducting root-cause analyses, and presenting findings to leadership.
• Preferred: proficiency with systems, spreadsheets, dashboards, and operational reporting tools.
