This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Oversee the effective implementation of Guidewire projects, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and project aims.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on a daily basis.
• Create project plans, timelines, and financial estimates.
• Monitor project advancement and make necessary adjustments to plans.
• Evaluate project performance and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines, scope, and client budgets.
• Foster strong client relationships and hold regular status meetings.
• Collaborate with Engagement Managers and Principals on larger initiatives.
• Identify, escalate, and address project risks and challenges.
• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional teams, Service Centers, Practices, and Guidewire Partners.
• Formulate and oversee resource allocation plans.
• Assist in project revenue projections and track financial metrics.
• Supervise internal delivery expenses and anticipated bookings.
• Contribute to business cases and budget proposals for complex projects.
• Manage international teams and collaborate with partners or vendors to create value.
• 10+ years of experience in Project/Program Management.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Background in a Professional Services or consulting setting coordinating contract-managed projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Capability to present project updates and discuss performance metrics.
• Ability to assist team members in prioritizing and meeting project deadlines.
• Experience in managing global teams and collaborating with various partners or vendors.
• Proficiency in prioritizing tasks, managing time, and juggling multiple project elements.
• Detail-oriented mindset for tracking deliverables and milestones.
• Analytical thinking and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to recognize when to escalate challenges related to schedule, scope, and budget.
• Skill in synthesizing information, assessing risks, and making structured decisions.
• Proven interest in advancing to the Engagement Manager position.
• Familiarity with the Guidewire catalog and a commitment to enhancing knowledge through training and certification.
• Basic understanding of the insurance sector and regional trends.
• Dedication to expanding knowledge of Guidewire products, cloud solutions, and the insurance industry.
• Multi-lingual abilities are advantageous, but not mandatory.
