Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversees IT or enterprise initiatives that range in scope and complexity from moderate to high.

• Guides leaders throughout the organization to deliver value and fulfill business strategies and objectives.

• Designs programs/projects aimed at delivering business value through shorter project delivery iterations.

• Develops effective communication strategies and secures commitment for decisions related to programs/projects.

• Establishes project expectations and strategy; ensures the creation of organizational change plans and project financials.

• Collaborates with program/project teams to pinpoint opportunities for developing reusable assets.

• Directs project/program teams in identifying measurable business value to ensure that metrics are collected and business objectives are achieved.

• Recognizes and manages interdependencies within various projects and programs.

• Creates Request for Proposals (RFP) that outline business needs and product/service expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred.

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 8 years of combined experience in project analysis, coordination, and management is required.

• At least 5 years of direct experience managing projects is required.

• Experience in managing projects of moderate complexity from start to finish, preferably within a financial institution, is required.
