This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Collaborates with Development to ensure timely and precise estimates and pricing align with project objectives.
• Comprehends client agreements with ESG.
• Oversees safety protocols, site regulations, and contractual terms.
• Manages all facets of scoping, pricing, and negotiating customer change orders throughout project execution.
• During project delivery, leads and fosters ongoing communication with the client to schedule and coordinate all activities while ensuring transparent updates on project status, costs, and training.
• Guides the project team in selecting suitable contractors and vendors for each initiative; oversees contract issuance.
• Collaborates with the project team to formulate contracting strategies, develop bid documents, evaluate bids, coordinate final contract documents, administer client contracts, and prepare and manage all third-party contracts while supervising additional contract personnel as necessary.
• Maintains the project timeline and oversees all contractor and subcontractor tasks, ensuring timely arrival of all project equipment and supplies.
• Creates and manages essential construction documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, notifications, and correspondence.
• Highly skilled in reviewing plans, specifications, and other contractual documents.
• Prepares monthly payment requests.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution with at least six (6) years of experience related to engineering and construction; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in engineering and construction managing federal projects with contract values exceeding $20 million; or an equivalent combination of education and project management experience.
• Proficient in scheduling using MS Project and Primavera, spreadsheets (Excel, Word), cost control, Procore, Bluebeam, and other project management tools.
• Minimum construction-related experience should include exposure to large electrical and renewable projects.
• Experience in working with and directing project teams on government sites.
• Experience in developing schedules and budgets.
• Proven ability to collaborate with others, particularly clients, in a professional and ethical manner.
• Demonstrated understanding of EM-385, OSHA, and Federal and State safety regulations.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• USACE QCM certification.
• Ability to obtain clearances for work at military and other critical government facilities.
• Preferred: Professional certification from an accredited program such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or PMI-CP.
• Proven capability to manage projects from development through to closure.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, accurately document projects, and effectively collaborate with clients and the ESG team to ensure customer satisfaction on every job.
