This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create detailed project plans for initiatives ranging from $3 Million to $12 Million, encompassing timelines, resource distribution, procurement strategies, contractual obligations, risk management, and cost control.
• Oversee and coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with schedules, specifications, and contractual commitments.
• Assess and choose installation companies based on their qualifications, experience, and cost efficiency.
• Facilitate the training of new IS installers, including teams performing self-contracting work.
• Monitor the progress of projects, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate project status, margins, errors/omissions, schedule compliance, and risks to stakeholders.
• Supervise project managers, monitor their progress, and offer support and feedback.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, legal standards, local building codes, and contractual agreements.
• Manage project documentation such as contracts, bonds, insurance, submittals, RFIs, permits/licenses, drawings, change orders, closeout documents, and post-project reports.
• Collaborate with the Principal Project Manager to create a project-status dashboard for real-time updates on milestones, budgets, development, and risks.
• Conduct project evaluations and apply corrective actions during and after projects to safeguard and enhance margins.
• Mentor project managers who require assistance in margin management.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Project Management team.
• Ensure that onsite teams fulfill their daily responsibilities and contractor commitments.
• Utilize ICE software for design, pricing, and scope evaluation.
• Identify DIRTT installation requirements, timelines, equipment, compliance, and costs for projects across North America.
• Lead and engage in pull-planning sessions from contract execution through to project completion.
• Attend project site meetings with general contractors and other subcontractors as necessary.
• Educate relevant trade groups regarding DIRTT manufactured solutions and trade integration.
• A Bachelor’s degree in construction management or relevant field experience will be accepted.
• Demonstrated experience as a Construction Project Manager.
• Extensive background in the DIRTT premanufactured construction sector.
• Experience in supervising, managing, and leading industry trades and construction projects.
• Proven experience in prefabricated construction, including casework/millwork, drywall, or custom interiors/interior finishes.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract language, risk management, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DIRTT construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
• Familiarity with relevant Safety, Health, and Environmental Regulations.
• Proficient in project management, scheduling, and estimating software, including Word, Excel, MS Project, and Crew Based Estimating software.
• Strong computer, problem-solving, communication, time-management, organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Capability to lead project teams of various sizes in the field.
• Willingness to travel based on project size, schedule, and contingencies; international travel is anticipated.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing may be mandated.
• Employment is contingent upon a successful background check, where permitted by law.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a significant advantage.
