This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete delivery of designated workstreams within the Amadeus GDS transformation.
• Manage extensive, intricate projects and formulate comprehensive project plans.
• Establish project scope, objectives, deliverables, tasks, resources, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Represent CTM in meetings with customers and vendors, providing updates on project status, dependencies, and risks.
• Maintain a consolidated schedule of project milestones within an external multi-party project plan.
• Identify and address the impacts of the GDS transition on business processes, agent workflows, customer experiences, technology platforms, and operational teams.
• Collaborate with business and operational leaders on change management, communications, training, and readiness initiatives.
• Act as an escalation point for difficult project-related issues.
• Manage changes in project scope, identify risks, and develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate project closure, documenting lessons learned and conducting retrospectives on project phases.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions regarding the project portfolio and individual projects to stakeholders and senior management.
• Foster business relationships that enhance project success and contribute to the growth of the project management office.
• Provide performance management, hiring, training, coaching, feedback, and development for direct and/or indirect reports as applicable.
• Promote employee engagement and support the culture of the team and organization.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or work experience is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in a project management role.
• Experience in navigating complex technology transformations, platform implementations, migrations, or business process change programs.
• Proficient in risk management and change management practices.
• Experience overseeing large-scale testing, business readiness, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in the Corporate Travel Management industry is highly preferred.
• Knowledge and expertise in project management concepts, methodologies, strategies, and technologies.
• Advanced skills in utilizing project management software tools.
• Familiarity with business travel management platforms and practices is considered a significant asset.
• Understanding of business and management principles related to strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interpret communication styles across diverse disciplines.
• Competence in effective communication with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to garner support from upper management, clients, and various departments.
• Capability to drive change in alignment with company strategies and objectives.
• Strong logical and reasoning skills for evaluating alternative solutions and approaches.
• Excellent decision-making and leadership abilities with a focus on detail.
• Adaptability and capacity to manage stress effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret information accurately.
• Regular and reliable attendance is a must.
