Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee multiple simultaneous projects from inception to completion

• Create detailed project plans that encompass scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resources

• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and on budget

• Recognize and manage project risks, issues, and develop mitigation strategies

• Establish governance and reporting frameworks for projects

• Act as the primary contact for project stakeholders

• Foster relationships with customers, executives, and internal teams

• Facilitate project kickoffs, stakeholder updates, steering committees, and status reviews

• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on goals and deliverables

• Coordinate resources across various teams

• Monitor budgets, forecast resource needs, and track financial performance

• Ensure the effective use of internal resources and external vendors

• Enhance project management methodologies, templates, best practices, and delivery standards

• Promote operational efficiencies and improve project outcomes

• Collaborate with Product, Development, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Support teams

• Facilitate issue resolution and decision-making across functions

• Support strategic initiatives and manage organizational change

• Prepare executive-level project status reports and dashboards

• Communicate project performance, risks, resource limitations, and recommendations to leadership

• Escalate critical issues and drive resolutions

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in project management within SaaS, software, technology, consulting, or professional services sectors

• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale or complex customer-facing projects

• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently while handling competing priorities

• Strong grasp of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices

• Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, and stakeholder management

• Robust analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment

• Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada and the United States

• Valid passport required

• A criminal background check may be necessary

• Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or a similar certification

• Preferred: Experience in leading SaaS software implementations

• Preferred: Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies

• Preferred: Experience with change management initiatives

• Preferred: Background in high-growth technology organizations

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Project Management, or a related field
