Senior Project Engineer, Turbine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Act as the design authority for a specific engineering discipline.

• Execute tasks on various moderate-scale projects or segments of significant projects.

• Ensure that assignments adhere to contract specifications, quality standards, safety protocols, and cybersecurity policies.

• Collaborate with clients to define and deliver effective solutions.

• Gather customer feedback to foster continuous improvement.

• Develop work plans and cost projections for the project portfolio.

• Guarantee quality and timely execution within budget constraints.

• Oversee design coordination through manufacturing/staging, testing, installation, and commissioning phases.

• Mentor engineering colleagues in converting conceptual designs into technical documentation.

• Disseminate engineering best practices and share lessons learned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Turbine Control Automation in the Power Industry.

• Experience with DCS or PLC design and programming.

• 8–12 years of experience in Turbine Automation.

• Creative problem-solving abilities and expertise in process control methods.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Must reside in Greater Pittsburgh, PA.
