This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist Program Management Teams with the financial oversight of projects and programs.
• Create, assess, and revise project and program budgets, forecasts, EACs, reporting, and analyses.
• Coordinate contract initiation meetings and aid in CostPoint project configuration, billing, accounting, and financial commitments.
• Establish and uphold the CostPoint project workforce while monitoring personnel expenditures against budgets.
• Supervise project and program spending and address any discrepancies or miscoding issues.
• Analyze and report on financial performance, pinpoint budget or forecast variances, and propose corrective measures.
• Oversee subcontractor/vendor expenses, invoices, payments, accruals, purchase requests, and purchase orders.
• Identify program risks and ensure that mitigation strategies are effectively implemented.
• Prepare or assist with client status reports, integrated program reviews, and urgent financial inquiries.
• Evaluate and endorse client invoices, resolving any billing and unbilled-charge queries.
• Monitor, track, and project labor and non-labor expenditures for projects.
• Manage labor-category expenditures on T&M contracts that have labor-category limits.
• Assist with pricing proposals and cost estimates, including pricing assumptions and estimate foundations.
• Comply with federal, internal, and external audit demands.
• Develop or refine project control processes, procedures, and systems.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Project/Program Control role with a government contractor.
• Experience with FFP, T&M, and Cost Plus Award Fee contract types.
• Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across various departments and organizational levels.
• Strong organizational abilities with an emphasis on precision and consistency.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Applicants must fulfill eligibility criteria for a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Only U.S. Citizens are eligible for security clearance.
• Candidates must possess a security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
