This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Perform site evaluations across a diverse range of real estate property types, including but not limited to office, retail, multifamily, hospitality, and industrial sectors.
• Generate deliverables accompanied by comprehensive supporting documentation, such as site figures and appendices.
• Assessment reports will cover the current state of key building and site elements (e.g., foundations, framing, roofing, façades, HVAC systems, etc.), evaluate the effective useful life of essential components, and outline the necessity and timing for replacement and/or repair.
• Willingness to travel on short notice (one week or less) is necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in architecture, engineering, construction, or a related field.
• Substantial professional experience in engineering/structural engineering and due diligence consulting, or at least seven years in architecture, construction, facilities management, or another real estate consulting service.
• Proven experience in technical writing and direct client interactions.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Specialized knowledge in critical building components, including structural systems, roofing, façades, and/or mechanical systems is advantageous.
• A valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle are required.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with familiarity in Quire (report writing platform).
