This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the development and implementation of clinical solutions addressing global technical services challenges related to EDC tools, SAS programming, and visual analytics.
• Spearhead the creation of visual analytics dashboards utilizing Spotfire or Tableau.
• Execute assigned tasks using Medidata Rave, Oracle Inform, or proprietary software in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and project specifications.
• Carry out post-production modifications to EDC databases and enhancements to SAS programs, including edit checks, listings, and protocol deviations.
• Collaborate with Data Managers to review contractual commitments and timelines.
• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for EDC and SAS technical services concerns.
• Deliver leading statistical programming support for the development and maintenance of SDTM and client standard datasets.
• Create and validate custom/complex SDTM domains and manage external data and reconciliations.
• Develop and implement automation, standardization, and best practices for SDTM programming.
• Plan, execute, and supervise study programming activities, encompassing resource estimation, timelines, quality assurance, and cross-functional/client interactions.
• Conduct peer reviews and quality control of study designs.
• Engage in software validation and process evaluations.
• Monitor advancements in new EDC products.
• Anticipate resource needs and assign project tasks to team members.
• Identify trends, produce reports and metrics, showcase programming processes, and assist with ECRF and study document design.
• Preferred university or college degree in life sciences, health sciences, information technology, or related fields.
• Relevant work experience and/or education equivalent to a bachelor's degree may be accepted in place of a formal degree.
• Equivalent and relevant experience may also be taken into account as a substitute for educational qualifications.
• Proficient in English, both in writing and speaking.
• 5 to 8 years of pertinent work experience in data management and database support, SAS programming, as well as Spotfire or Tableau development.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic understanding of clinical trial processes, data management, biometrics, and systems applications is preferred.
• Capacity to work effectively within a team setting.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
