Senior Programme Officer – Sustainable Finance Programme

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist in the execution of ACF’s Sustainable Finance Strategy across its key pillars and workstreams.

• Facilitate the implementation and monitoring of various Sustainable Finance initiatives, grants, and partnerships.

• Aid in the creation of strategic workplans, concept notes, briefing documents, presentations, and internal strategy materials.

• Collaborate with ACF teams to ensure consistency, synergies, and cross-portfolio learning.

• Assist in the organization and coordination of strategic meetings, peer learning exchanges, workshops, and webinars.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, International Development, Climate Finance, Development Studies, or a similar field.

• A minimum of 6 to 8 years of progressive professional experience in programme design, coordination, management, or related positions.

• Proven experience working with or supporting governmental institutions, regional bodies, consultants, and implementing partners.

• Strong background in programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, partnership management, and grant oversight.

• Exceptional writing, reporting, analytical, communication, and presentation capabilities.
