This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +5 more countries.
• Assist in the advancement of Medical Education and Medical Affairs capabilities and initiatives required by the RLM organization.
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Medical Affairs programs and strategic projects.
• Convert scientific and business goals into practical project plans in collaboration with Medical Affairs leaders.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery, within defined scope, and in alignment with organizational priorities.
• Create and uphold program schedules, risk management frameworks, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
• Aid in evidence generation, scientific communication, publication planning, and educational endeavors.
• Manage governance processes, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making across both global and regional teams.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance Medical Affairs processes, tools, and operational methods.
• Engage with regional and global teams and occasionally travel to support meetings, congresses, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs leadership to implement programs that promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic therapies and technologies.
• A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Business, or a comparable field.
• Extensive experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences sectors.
• Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional programs and projects with various stakeholders.
• Strong project and program management capabilities, encompassing planning, risk management, and execution.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a knack for influencing at all levels of the organization.
• Expertise in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting progress to leadership teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally (over 60%).
• Individual Contributor Role.
• An advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PharmD, or PhD) is preferred.
• Project management certification is a plus.
• Experience in supporting global Medical Affairs organizations or teams is a plus.
• Familiarity with surgical clinical procedures, surgical instruments and technologies, and robotics is advantageous.
