This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Oversee the implementation and delivery of extensive, mission-critical federal initiatives.
β’ Act as the main point of contact with the Government Agreements Officer (AO) and Agreements Officer Representative (AOR).
β’ Provide comprehensive program leadership to ensure the successful achievement of cost, schedule, scope, quality, and performance goals.
β’ Facilitate Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, sprint reviews, program evaluations, and retrospectives across various Agile teams.
β’ Manage the consolidated program schedule, sprint velocity, and delivery projections to meet government deadlines.
β’ Maintain and oversee the program risk register, proactively identifying and addressing program risks and issues.
β’ Escalate interdepartmental risks and dependencies to government stakeholders as necessary.
β’ Ensure that all contractual deliverables are completed accurately and submitted punctually.
β’ Coordinate government-directed User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across multiple development sprints.
β’ Manage staffing, onboarding, resource planning, and personnel continuity throughout the contract duration.
β’ Establish and sustain trusted relationships with government clients, executive leadership, subcontractors, and project teams.
β’ Monitor program financial performance, budgets, staffing, and adherence to contracts.
β’ Develop and implement corrective action plans for any schedule, cost, or performance discrepancies.
β’ Mentor Program Managers, Project Managers, and Project Coordinators while advocating for best practices in program delivery.
β’ Ensure compliance with relevant federal acquisition regulations, contract requirements, and organizational quality standards.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
β’ A minimum of 8β12 years of experience in managing extensive federal government programs or contracts.
β’ Proven track record of managing complex programs valued at $10M or more.
β’ Experience leading cross-functional technical teams involved in software development, IT modernization, or defense programs.
β’ Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and federal program governance.
β’ Exceptional leadership, organizational, negotiation, and executive communication skills.
β’ Experience in managing program budgets, timelines, risks, and contract performance.
β’ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
β’ Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
