This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Accountable for overseeing program management for a single customer, requiring coordination of program requirements through various planning stages with multiple subcontractors.
• Manages all stages of programs from initiation to completion.
• Identifies, formulates, and executes both short-term and long-term business strategies related to the creation of new products, technologies, services, follow-on products, and/or industries.
• The program may operate from a single location utilizing established technologies that require standard applications to deliver solutions to a range of technical challenges.
• Responsible for the cost, timeline, and technical performance of company programs.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding program activities, leading review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Identifies market and licensing opportunities while assessing the viability of business and product development.
• Collaborates with internal departments to identify and implement business development initiatives.
• Continuously develops and shares information with all relevant parties regarding the achievement of project goals and objectives.
• Assesses the progress of project milestones and makes necessary adjustments to ensure overall project quality and schedule adherence.
• Regularly interacts with key government stakeholders.
• Establishes milestones and monitors compliance with master plans and schedules, identifies program issues, and secures solutions, such as resource allocation or modifications to contractual specifications.
• Oversees the work of employees assigned to the program.
• 8 years of relevant progressive experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or 6 years of relevant progressive experience with a Master's degree in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant progressive experience.
• Experience in managing defense contracts.
• Proven capability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging with business leaders to establish credibility, resolve issues, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
• Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and competing demands.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with technical and non-technical staff across all levels of management.
• Flexible and capable of adjusting to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clearance: Must hold and maintain a Secret clearance with the capability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
