This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Fulfill the role of Program Analyst / Project Officer.
• Support the Government Team Lead in managing project objectives and strategies for effective project delivery.
• Track the performance of strategies to ensure that program cost, schedule, and performance goals remain a top priority.
• Aid the Government Team Lead in managing project initiatives to proactively address customer needs and ensure alignment with approved requirements.
• Maintain open lines of communication and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the sharing of essential project information.
• Create, review, and oversee program plans, integrated master schedules, project briefs, and other necessary documentation to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Assist the Government Team Lead in reporting project results and status updates to all stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Convey program priorities, planning, and execution strategies, utilizing both oral and written communication with stakeholders.
• Work with the Government Team Lead to foster a collaborative environment by coordinating efforts with internal and external organizations.
• Support the Government Team Lead in organizing and managing a diverse, cross-functional team of government civilians and contractors to effectively realize project goals and objectives, ensuring all project requirements are met successfully.
• Help the Government Team Lead cultivate a culture of teamwork, trust, and collaboration.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, accompanied by at least twelve (12) years of progressive experience in program analytics within a defense acquisitions program office or a similar setting.
• An active Secret Security Clearance is required for this position.
• Mid-level understanding of Government acquisition practices and procedures is essential.
• Significant experience with U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps programs or operations is required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and priority management abilities.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team on multidisciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in conducting research and analyzing data/trends related to weapon systems to support readiness and cost optimization is necessary.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Teams) is required.
• Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial.
