Senior Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee program timelines and monitor the progress of deliverables from the Product Definition stage to the OK to Launch phase for one or more Autonomous Vehicle platforms.

• Identify interdependencies across tasks and program teams to ensure ongoing alignment.

• Monitor risks and manage strategies for mitigation.

• Communicate with development partners and customers to align program plans and escalate vehicle issues as necessary.

• Create and manage program budgets, tracking expenditures throughout the entire program lifecycle to meet financial targets and proactively address variances.

• Lead cross-functional teams to define, monitor, and achieve bill of material cost targets in support of growth objectives.

• Implement and manage changes as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

• Present reports to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.

• Advocate for prioritization of safety and quality.

• Support the continuous enhancement of vehicle development and program management processes.

• Build and utilize relationships across functions to ensure effective communication and seamless execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Product Development field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management of hardware/software integrated products at an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier or OEM.

• A strong passion for both process and people-oriented solutions, along with exceptional organizational skills.

• PMP Certification (preferred).

• Prior experience with a high-growth, mission-driven startup (preferred).

• Experience collaborating with Japanese Automotive OEMs or Suppliers (preferred).

• Familiarity with ADAS or Vehicle Control products (preferred).
