This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Oversee program timelines and monitor the progress of deliverables from the Product Definition stage to the OK to Launch phase for one or more Autonomous Vehicle platforms.
β’ Identify interdependencies across tasks and program teams to ensure ongoing alignment.
β’ Monitor risks and manage strategies for mitigation.
β’ Communicate with development partners and customers to align program plans and escalate vehicle issues as necessary.
β’ Create and manage program budgets, tracking expenditures throughout the entire program lifecycle to meet financial targets and proactively address variances.
β’ Lead cross-functional teams to define, monitor, and achieve bill of material cost targets in support of growth objectives.
β’ Implement and manage changes as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
β’ Present reports to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.
β’ Advocate for prioritization of safety and quality.
β’ Support the continuous enhancement of vehicle development and program management processes.
β’ Build and utilize relationships across functions to ensure effective communication and seamless execution.
β’ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Product Development field.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management of hardware/software integrated products at an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier or OEM.
β’ A strong passion for both process and people-oriented solutions, along with exceptional organizational skills.
β’ PMP Certification (preferred).
β’ Prior experience with a high-growth, mission-driven startup (preferred).
β’ Experience collaborating with Japanese Automotive OEMs or Suppliers (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with ADAS or Vehicle Control products (preferred).
