Senior Program Control Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Engage in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for various projects that differ in contract types, sizes, complexities, and risk levels.

• Collaborate with project managers, senior technical personnel, contracts, finance, accounts receivable, procurement, and subcontract management.

• Provide detailed reports, analyze financial data, and deliver project cost/schedule presentations to managers and clients.

• Create weekly and/or monthly status reports for customers, ensuring accurate burn rate and LOF information is maintained.

• Assist in the development of spend plans and perform financial analyses, including maintaining Estimates at Completion (EACs).

• Contribute to annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly latest revised estimates.

• Examine and reconcile cash flow, profitability, invoicing, unbillables, and costs on hold.

• Submit and manage purchase requisitions while overseeing subcontractor costs and the invoice review/approval process.

• Take part in new business proposals, project projections, requirements analysis, and cost and management volumes.

• Assist with ad hoc programmatic requests and engage in finance-related process improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years or more of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with four (4) years or more of experience.

• A focus in Finance, Accounting, or a business-related field is preferred.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• A solid understanding of financial management principles.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables.

• Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of government contracting and contract types such as CPFF, FFP, and T&M is advantageous.

• Experience in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects and deliverables.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines, organize action items, prioritize tasks, follow through, and work autonomously or as part of a team.

• Familiarity with Costpoint and Cognos Workspace Advanced is preferred.
