Senior Program Analyst – Veteran Suicide Prevention

📋 Description

• The Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs (SECVA) has tasked the Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) to examine the current initiatives the Veteran Health Administration (VHA) is implementing that effectively reduce Veteran suicide rates, as well as to identify innovative strategies aimed at further decreasing Veteran fatalities by suicide. This review has led to the development of the Veteran Suicide Prevention FY 2026 Strategic Sprints. A comprehensive approach is necessary to streamline growing interactions, promote alternative methods for managing chronic pain, connect Veterans with faith-based resources within their communities, and address the care coordination gaps between VA and CITC providers. Gritter Francona is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to assist in this important initiative.

• Job responsibilities include:

• - Supporting VHA in analyzing and assessing the effectiveness of healthcare programs.

• - Conducting program reviews that require systematic methods for evaluating the quality of current and future VHA initiatives to identify improvement opportunities and measure success, outcomes, and enhancement programs.

• - Aiding VHA in the implementation of program operations to achieve the established goals and objectives.

• - Contributing insights on program evaluation and enhancing the organization and management of projects and programs to boost productivity and program performance.

• - Assisting VHA in identifying program resources and helping develop program reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• - Bachelor's degree.

• - At least 8 years of experience in a large-scale integrated Health Care System with a focus on Veterans' healthcare and outreach, preferred.
