Senior Professional Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery of Cortex Onboarding & Implementation packages, starting from kickoff to handover, utilizing structured enablement workshops and customized customer interactions.

• Function as the primary technical contact during the implementation phase to resolve issues, investigate bugs, and provide product feedback.

• Serve as a trusted advisor, assisting customers in making well-informed design and implementation choices.

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot Cortex features and integrations across the engineering toolchain.

• Provide advice on and execute data modeling strategies within Cortex (entities, relationships, ownership); develop and present architecture diagrams for Cortex configurations and ingestion pipelines.

• Assist customers with data ingestion automation, ownership, reporting, and orchestration strategies (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo).

• Develop customer-oriented learning guides, walkthroughs, and best-practice documentation.

• Organize and lead enablement workshops for various audiences (engineering, platform, product, leadership).

• Contribute to internal content regarding advanced technical use cases and implementation patterns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in customer-facing technical positions such as Professional Services, Technical Consulting, Solutions Architecture, Platform Engineering (with customer interaction), or a related field.

• Practical experience integrating SaaS tools through APIs, webhooks, and ingestion pipelines.

• Knowledge of modern engineering ecosystems (CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab, cloud providers, observability, incident management).

• Proficient in working with JSON and YAML (experience with Python, SQL, and scripting is a plus).
