HV Substation Commissioning Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the testing, commissioning, and integration of high-voltage substation projects

• Direct commissioning activities conducted on-site

• Ensure the technical integrity of both primary and secondary equipment

• Work collaboratively with internal teams as well as external clients

• Generate precise technical documentation and address any technical inquiries

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in testing and commissioning HV power system equipment

• Ability to manage and troubleshoot intricate protection schemes

• Familiarity with contemporary communication protocols like IEC61850, Modbus, and IEC 104

• Proficiency in using industry-standard testing equipment such as Omicron, Sverker, or Megger

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred
