Senior Professional Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure and oversee intricate compensation planning cycles that encompass merit, bonus, and equity workflows.

• Create and troubleshoot compensation and bonus formulas utilizing proprietary formula languages.

• Conduct audits on data inputs and validate outputs at every stage to ensure precision prior to delivery.

• Design custom compensation outputs, including PDF letter templates and ad hoc reporting.

• Recognize trends and inconsistencies within customer data and present clear recommendations.

• Set up, configure, and migrate third-party integrations and SFTP connections for current customers.

• Diagnose and resolve integration problems, data mapping/transformation errors, and sync failures using both the ChartHop UI and API response objects.

• Validate data flows from start to finish and ensure outputs align with customer specifications.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout each engagement.

• Establish and manage project expectations across stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive sponsors.

• Articulate complex technical concepts clearly for non-technical audiences, boosting customer confidence at every stage.

• Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure continuity and a consistent customer experience.

• Create and maintain internal documentation; train colleagues on processes as they evolve.

• Provide structured product feedback to Engineering and Product based on patterns observed across engagements.

• Contribute to the processes and playbooks we are developing to scale the Professional Services function.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in Professional Services, SaaS, consulting, or a related field.

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex, multi-phase projects from scoping to delivery.

• Direct customer-facing experience across a range of company sizes, from SMB to Enterprise.

• Experience configuring or managing third-party integrations and SFTP connections.

• Strong aptitude for understanding data structures, technical systems, and software configuration.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, or Markdown (utilized for creating compensation letter templates).

• Familiarity with complex custom formulas (Excel, Python, SQL, or equivalent).

• Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integration patterns.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; effective with both technical and non-technical audiences.
