Senior Production / Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of operational activities to ensure successful program delivery.

• Oversee daily operational activities across various program workstreams.

• Assess operational workflows and suggest enhancements for process improvement.

• Work in collaboration with program leadership, functional teams, and government stakeholders on value stream management and operational planning.

• Track operational performance metrics, recognize trends, risks, and process deficiencies, and propose corrective measures.

• Aid in workforce readiness, training coordination, and activities that enable operations.

• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by optimizing workflows, standardizing processes, and enhancing program effectiveness.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field; a relevant combination of education and experience may be accepted.

• At least eight (8) years of professional experience in supporting program operations, business operations, healthcare operations, process improvement, or operational management efforts.

• Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing operational activities across various workstreams.

• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to oversee multiple operations, delegate tasks, communicate effectively and respectfully, and assess performance metrics.

• Experience in report generation, managing daily operations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business operations and executive decision-making.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process enhancement.

• Experience in converting business requirements into analytical solutions and conveying technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and either work with or manage others in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.

• Preferred: experience in supporting Federal Government programs, healthcare transformation, digital health, healthcare technology, enterprise modernization, operational planning, value stream management, workflow optimization, business process improvement, organizational change management, workforce enablement, or operational readiness.

• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
