This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead client discovery initiatives, conduct competitive analysis, and perform market research to uncover emerging opportunities.
• Define and take ownership of the product strategy for payer offerings, and create actionable product roadmaps spanning 12 to 24 months.
• Collaborate with General Managers and Product Leadership to assess opportunities, establish priorities, and aid in annual business planning.
• Work in partnership with Sales, Client Success, and Marketing teams to validate opportunities, expedite adoption, and enhance commercial performance.
• Prioritize product investments based on market demand, competitive differentiation, commercial potential, and build-versus-partner evaluations.
• Oversee market validation, product definition, business case development, and the requirements for Technical Product Management and Engineering execution.
• Discover opportunities for AI-enabled solutions, automation, and decision support.
• Act as the subject matter expert for payer products in areas such as product development, solution validation, client engagements, webinars, and conferences.
• Drive commercialization efforts through effective positioning, value propositions, pricing strategies, packaging, sales enablement, and go-to-market plans.
• Evaluate product performance through metrics such as adoption rates, client feedback, competitive positioning, and post-launch analytics.
• Collaborate with teams across Product Management, Engineering, Client Services, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
• Define scalable service, support, and operating models in conjunction with Client Services.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 5 to 8+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, healthcare consulting, or commercial strategy specifically within healthcare technology, SaaS, or analytics serving payer organizations.
• In-depth understanding of product strategy, commercialization, product development lifecycles, and portfolio planning.
• Comprehensive knowledge of payer operations, healthcare data, claims analytics, and health plan workflows.
• Proven experience in evaluating market opportunities, crafting business cases, and prioritizing product investments through commercial and financial analysis such as TAM/SAM/SOM.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and to drive alignment amidst competing priorities.
• Preferred experience in launching and commercializing enterprise SaaS or healthcare analytics solutions for payer organizations.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with business intelligence, analytics, or data visualization tools.
• Experience with SQL is advantageous.
• Must be strategic, collaborative, adaptable, intellectually curious, and focused on customer needs.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship from Milliman, both now and in the future.
