This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and oversee the field-based healthcare professional (HCP) engagement strategy for the US Oncology Field Medical Breast Team.
• Act as the primary medical lead, engaging and collaborating with stakeholders from Medical Affairs, Commercial, Clinical Development and Operations, and CMAO Platform Functions.
• Analyze and effectively communicate field medical insights to inform strategy within Pfizer Oncology.
• Collaborate with the Therapeutic Area USMA Lead to formulate aligned strategic plans that adhere to the US Oncology Medical Affairs unified medical organization approach.
• Manage all facets of Field Medical Team execution to ensure achievement of US Medical Affairs business goals.
• Work alongside the US HQ Medical Team to create and implement field medical strategies and tactics as an integral member of the US Medical Leadership Team.
• Design, implement, and enhance the external HCP engagement field medical strategy.
• Partner with the US National Commercial Franchise Lead to ensure compliant medical and commercial collaboration.
• Coordinate with Clinical Development and Operations on strategic priorities and field medical enablement for company-sponsored studies.
• Collaborate with CMAO Platform functions to establish oncology and therapeutic-area KPIs and dashboards.
• Assess field medical team performance to maximize execution and support across various programs.
• Contribute to the strategy for developing field medical content and resource evaluation.
• Ensure field medical team training in conjunction with the Medical Content Channel Team.
• Organize the field medical Congress Strategy and HCP Engagement Plan.
• Oversee travel and expense (T&E) and project budgets for the Breast Field Medical Team.
• Supervise field-based Team Leaders.
• Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, specifically in Medical Affairs.
• Experience in Field Medical leadership.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in leading high-performing field medical teams.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills.
• High emotional intelligence.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in collaborating effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• PhD, PharmD, MD, or MS degree.
• Willingness to travel regularly by air for HCP/customer meetings, NYHQ meetings, and regional and national scientific meetings.
• Flexibility to travel 60–80% of the time.
• Must reside within reasonable proximity to an airline hub city.
• Availability to work on occasional weekends for advisory boards and congress meetings.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is currently unavailable and will not be offered in the future.
• Bonus target of 25.0% of base salary through Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan.
