This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Participate as a security expert and advisor in project teams focused on product enhancements and new product development.
• Develop and revise threat models to inform security-related decisions.
• Analyze and review the source code of applications to identify security flaws and vulnerabilities.
• Adopt a hacker's mindset to test endpoint applications that include kernel components.
• Collaborate with developers to identify problems, risks, design weaknesses, and devise effective solutions.
• Create tools and automation to simplify tasks for yourself, your team, and developers.
• Validate and replicate certain types of bug bounty reports, while also searching for similar issues in affected applications.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, preferably with a focus on security.
• Experience in programming or evaluating the security of C/C++ applications for Linux.
• Strong knowledge of system internals and security features relevant to Linux.
• Familiarity with concurrency considerations in multi-threaded applications.
• Understanding of the security implications associated with containerization and virtualization.
• A working knowledge of how software products are developed and delivered in Agile/DevOps environments.
• A thorough understanding of common software vulnerabilities that affect endpoint and client/server applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical teams.
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
