This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team focused on technical revenue accounting and SKU operations, establishing clear objectives and providing continuous coaching and feedback.
• Take ownership of the revenue accounting product lifecycle for DocuSign’s product range, including assessment of new products, feature modifications, and growth initiatives along with their revenue implications.
• Analyze intricate commercial structures (such as platforms, usage/credits, ramps, and ISV/partner agreements) and drive accurate ASC 606 conclusions and documentation.
• Supervise product configuration and operations within financial systems, covering SSP assessments, allocations, events, and more.
• Spearhead the design and implementation of scalable, well-controlled operational processes, leveraging automation and analytics tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and visibility.
• Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, Legal, Deal Desk, Pricing & Packaging, FP&A, Product, and Engineering as a primary contact for revenue and operational matters.
• Oversee month-end and quarter-end closures for product accounting, ensuring robust SOX and internal controls while supporting internal and external audits.
• Assist with M&A product considerations, including policy alignment and strategies for product onboarding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA license or equivalent certification.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, including over 5 years with Big 4 or equivalent, featuring direct ASC 606 expertise.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in people management, leading teams in accounting, finance, or related operations.
• Proficiency with revenue systems, ERP/general ledger systems, and automation tools.
• Familiarity with SaaS and subscription revenue, encompassing SSP, allocation, contract modifications, variable consideration, ramps, and usage/credit-based models.
• Experience working in a SOX or similar internal control environment.
