Senior Product Owner – Xsolla Money Account

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the strategic direction and roadmap of the Money Account product to align with business objectives and customer requirements.

• Identify opportunities to enhance wallet features, issuing, payouts, and related financial capabilities tailored for gamers and creators.

• Balance user experience, technical feasibility, regulatory factors, and partner constraints while developing solutions.

• Convert product strategy into precise, high-quality PRDs that deliver context, rationale, and actionable specifications.

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and reliable end-to-end user experiences.

• Work alongside engineering teams utilizing Jira and Confluence to manage scope, priorities, and delivery timelines.

• Drive features from ideation through development, testing, launch readiness, and post-launch refinement.

• Work in close partnership with engineering, design, data, compliance, legal, finance, marketing, and customer support teams.

• Clearly communicate goals, trade-offs, and timelines to ensure alignment across stakeholders.

• Assist in internal enablement by educating teams about new features, user flows, and operational impacts.

• Engage with external partners, including wallet providers, issuing banks, BaaS platforms, and card networks.

• Participate in discussions with partners to clarify requirements, dependencies, and delivery expectations.

• Contribute to the assessment of vendors, platforms, and capabilities that align with the Money Account roadmap.

• Define and monitor essential product metrics related to onboarding, engagement, and usage.

• Leverage data, user feedback, and partner insights to pinpoint friction points and areas for enhancement.

• Continuously improve products based on performance metrics and shifting customer needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in product management within fintech, payments, embedded finance, or e-commerce.

• Demonstrated success in delivering complex, cross-functional Fintech products from initial concept to launch.

• Experience with digital wallets, card issuing, payouts, or BaaS platforms.

• Strong technical proficiency and comfort in collaborating closely with engineering teams and APIs.

• Ability to transform ambiguous challenges into structured product requirements and execution strategies.

• Excellent project management and execution skills, including planning, managing timelines and dependencies, tracking action items, and proactively identifying risks or blockers.

• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities; adept at managing multiple workstreams concurrently.

• High proficiency in the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, and related tools) for managing backlogs, documenting requirements, maintaining execution visibility, and supporting prioritization and planning workflows.

• Data-driven mindset with the capability to utilize metrics for informed decision-making.

• A collaborative, humble, and solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.

• Comfortable with giving and receiving feedback, and reassessing assumptions as new information arises.
