Senior Product Owner – Workforce Management SaaS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Optimize Product Value: Ensure that the product maximizes value derived from the development team's efforts while fulfilling all established objectives.

• Delivery Strategy Definition: Collaborate with the engineering team to outline the execution strategy and delivery timelines.

• Backlog Oversight: Create, manage, and prioritize the product backlog to align with both technical and business strategies.

• Story Creation: Work alongside the squad to develop Epics and Stories, ensuring adherence to the stringent "Definition of Ready" and "Definition of Done."

• Agile Leadership: Facilitate and oversee key Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint demonstrations.

• Project Monitoring & Communication: Lead sprint and release planning, monitor progress against timelines, and provide clear updates to stakeholders.

• Roadblock Resolution: Actively identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the squad's ability to achieve its goals.

• Vision Contribution: Engage in the development and maintenance of the overall product vision from design through to deployment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Process Transformation: A demonstrated history of successfully optimizing and transforming internal business processes.

• Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Proven capability to work alongside Technical Owners in an Agile squad to ensure reliable, high-quality software delivery.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Outstanding communication skills for effective collaboration with Product Managers, Architects, Security teams, DBAs, UX Designers, and Customers.

• Problem-Solving Abilities: Skill in converting complex business or technical challenges into actionable, clearly defined solutions.

• Expertise in Agile/Scrum: Extensive practical knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.

• Advanced Technology/AI Knowledge: Capacity to stay informed about emerging technologies, with a particular focus on the evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

• Technical Understanding: A foundational grasp of software architecture, database management, and security to facilitate effective collaboration with technical stakeholders.
