This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate closely with the **CTO/CPO and Product Manager** to define and enhance product direction.
• Convert strategic concepts into **distinct product opportunities, initiatives, and deliverables**.
• Spearhead **discovery initiatives**, integrating customer insights, product knowledge, and data when applicable.
• Develop **lean product briefs, user flows, and wireframes** to ensure quick alignment among teams.
• Work daily with the **Engineering Manager and engineers** to investigate solutions and manage trade-offs.
• **Own and proactively oversee the team’s backlog**, ensuring:
• Clear prioritization that aligns with strategic direction and current initiatives.
• Work is well-defined, suitably scoped, and primed for development.
• Ongoing grooming and refinement as priorities shift.
• Facilitate delivery across diverse types of work:
• Early-stage experiments and proofs of concept.
• MVPs and initial product launches.
• More sophisticated features that require continuous iteration.
• Decompose complex concepts into **clear, iterative deliverables**.
• Make informed decisions on **what to pursue, iterate, pause, or discontinue**.
• Ensure that successful initiatives are **well-positioned for handoff** to other teams as needed.
• Maintain momentum and clarity amid **ambiguous and evolving problem landscapes**.
• 4–6+ years of experience in a Product Owner or similar position within a **B2B SaaS or technical product setting**.
• Proven capability to navigate both **discovery and delivery** processes.
• Experience in close collaboration with engineering teams on **technically intricate products**.
• Demonstrated ability to **convert high-level concepts into actionable product increments**.
• Experience in creating **user flows, wireframes, or early-stage product prototypes**.
• Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
• 100% remote position **(Must be based in Germany)**.
