Senior Product Owner

📋 Description

• The Senior Product Owner is vital in ensuring that a product or feature is developed with an emphasis on delivering value to both the customer and the business.

• Serve as the customer advocate and hold responsibility for making critical product-related decisions throughout the development lifecycle, including recognizing opportunities to integrate emerging technologies.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to transform future visions and requirements into clearly articulated epics and user stories.

• Ensure that all team members comprehend and align with product objectives.

• Function as the main liaison between the development team and stakeholders; regularly communicate progress, alterations, and updates.

• Create and sustain the product backlog; prioritize features, user stories, and tasks based on business value, customer requirements, market trends, and strategic opportunities.

• Continuously refine and groom the backlog in response to feedback, shifting priorities, and new insights.

• Decompose high-level requirements into specific, actionable user stories that adhere to robust Agile standards and facilitate effective workflows, automation, and decision support as needed.

• Establish clear acceptance criteria so the team understands what defines “done” for each feature.

• Engage in sprint planning to select user stories and tasks; ensure the team has a clear grasp of the work scope.

• Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to strategize and prioritize releases that align with market demands and business objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

• 4-7 years of pertinent work experience.

• Proficiency with Product and Development tools such as ADO, Jira, or other similar platforms.

• Strong preference for candidates with healthcare and technical expertise, including experience with data, API integrations, and interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.

• Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities, with the capacity to utilize data and metrics to support assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and explore opportunities related to emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities when applicable.

• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• A solid understanding of the industry, market trends, and customer needs.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork across Engineering, UI/UX, Product Management, leadership, and both internal and external stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
